Burrata Di Bufala from the Puglia region of Italy. We also make the Puglia classic Burrata which is shredded mozzarella mixed with fresh cream filled into mozzarella pockets and closed by hand. The best part is when it’s cut into and the cream oozes out! Best eaten on a pizza or as a salad or best as is.
Why We Love The Spotted Cow?
Brothers Prateeksh and Agnay Mehra are cheese devouts who started The Spotted Cow Fromagerie from their home basement. Its that local! What began as a personal experiment with two types of French cheese quickly escalated to a boutique business with a selection that appeals to a wide range of cheese lovers.
As cheese enthusiasts we really owe a debt to the brothers for introducing international cheese to our platters without us having to wait for annual vacations to buy the cheese or pay stratospheric prices for the imports. In addition to its homegrown appeal, we love that their cheese tastes so frightfully close to (i.e. yum) to the styles it mimics.
